 Ben Bova has been writing about science and scientists since junior high school when he first visited the Fels Planetarium in Philadelphia. He has gone on to make a career out of that interest as both an award-winning science fiction writer and an award-winning editor.
Ben Bova graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia where he obtained a degree in journalism. He has been a Technical Editor for Project Vanguard with the Martin Company in Baltimore and also a screenwriter for the Physical Science Study Committee of Educational Services in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
He is an enthusiastic amateur astronomer and engages in stellar map-making and astronomical research in his spare time.
He resides with his wife and son in a quiet suburb of Boston. [edit]
